The Scythian

The Russian steppes, around a thousand years ago. Tribal wars are in full effect. A pagan tribe named Wolf attacks a troop of nomadic Scythians and kidnaps the wife and child of one of them, the warrior Lubotor. Obviously he will not let this go unchallenged. Extremely violent and epic action film grabs the viewer by the throat and does not let go.

Conan the Barbarian meets Mad Max, that’s how you could describe The Scythian. The film is bursting with testosterone. It drives not only the characters, but the film itself as well, with a camera that doesn’t rest for a second and scenes that give new meaning to the phrase ‘larger than life’.
