The Imagine Film Festival & Universal Pictures NL present ten special screenings of the psychedelic horror-thriller 'Mandy', which will be screened in various cinemas from September 14th. Check out all the cities we'll be visiting here. In the most bizarre cinematographic trip of the year, we see Nicolas Cage slipping into the deepest caves of hell as the love of his life is murdered.

The film is preceded by an introduction by a programmer from the Imagine Film Festival OR an exclusive pre-recorded interview with visionary director Panos Cosmatos (Beyond the Black Rainbow).

Mandy
Pacific Northwest, North America, 1983. Outsiders Red Miller (Nicolas Cage) and Mandy Bloom (Andrea Riseborough, Birdman) live a peaceful life in the woods. When their safe refuge between the pine needles is harshly disrupted by a sect led by sadist Jeremiah Sand (Linus Roache, Vikings), Red ends up in a phantasmagorical trip soaked in bloody revenge and peppered with fire.

Also with: Bill Duke (Predator), Richard Brake (Hannibal Rising) and Olwen Fouéré (The Survivalist). The film music is composed by the recently deceased Jóhann Jóhannsson (Arrival, Sicario, The Theory of Everything).
